Every year, nearly 3,000 projects, lasting between 8 and 12 months, engage over 50,000 young people in a wide range of activities.

We have been working in Mozambique since 2000, and in 2019 we decided to introduce the Civil Service to bring new skills and fresh ideas into our projects each year, but not only that. Over the years, many projects have been developed in the country, and currently, 12 are active. As a result, the skills and expertise of the volunteers who rotate every year are diverse and often very different from one another.
AN EXCHANGE THAT RENEWS ITSELF EVERY YEAR

The project aims to raise public and government awareness of the value that the cultural and creative industry holds for the country. We are looking for music therapists, musicians, and cultural managers who can help local artists grow internationally.

AGAPE works with many local partners that focus on children and non-formal education in the neighborhoods of Maputo. With each of these partners, we carry out educational support activities and guidance for both younger children and older youth.

The center has two units: one for supporting adults with psychiatric disorders and the other that primarily hosts children with various forms of disabilities during the day. Volunteers, ranging from educators to art therapists, take turns within the facility to provide various types of stimuli for the patients.

Through a non-formal educational approach involving the use of music therapy and art therapy, the project aims to stimulate learning processes in children and young people, improve memory, autonomy, expressive abilities and spontaneity.

This project is run by one of our partners, PASSI Società Cooperativa (www.rebrand.ly/scu-passi-moz-2022), with whom we collaborate. Ca-Paz is an organization focused on gender-based violence, working through a community network that offers psychological and legal support to women who are victims of violence.

Every year, depending on the skills of the applicants, we develop new activities and projects to ensure that no opportunity for improvement and growth is missed. If you don't find a project here that matches your interests, feel free to write to us at volontari@www.agapeforfuture.it or call us at 351 961 7446.
We have been working in the Democratic Republic of Congo since 2004. Over the years, we have focused on supporting the most vulnerable, with particular attention to disabled children and young girls. Specifically, the project aims to support young disabled women who experience abuse and face the challenges of managing a pregnancy and raising children. We have therefore decided to launch a project in collaboration with our local partners, Corpus Sana and Elikia Na Biso, to support these girls and their children.

Volunteers will participate in the initial reception activities, collaborate in defining personalized pathways for each young woman, assist the staff in providing medical care, take part in creating a program to improve the mother-child relationship, and support the young women in managing their healthcare, nutritional, and psychological needs.

The activity involves setting up a nursery within the shelter and participating in support programs for the young women, helping them become capable of caring for the children in the nursery.

The activity involves participating in meetings to organize activities and supporting the staff of the shelter during the implementation of training and integration programs that will guide the young women towards social autonomy. Specifically, the training will focus on creating pathways for occupational integration and evaluating and monitoring these processes.

Every year, depending on the skills of the applicants, we develop new activities and projects to ensure no opportunity for improvement and growth is missed. If you don't find a project that suits you among these, feel free to write to us at volontari@www.agapeforfuture.it or call us at 351 961 7446.
In the border communities of Ecuador, migrants and asylum seekers fleeing neighboring Venezuela arrive every day, looking for safety for their families, often with very few resources to survive. In this challenging situation and with the work continuously growing, we decided to develop a joint volunteer project with the Scalabrinian Sisters to support the community.
AN ESSENTIAL HELP FOR HUNDREDS OF PEOPLE

The reception activities include migrant orientation, psychological support, placement in host families, especially for unaccompanied minors, training for these families, and continuous monitoring visits to ensure the proper progress of the project.

Many of the young people crossing the border are seeking better life opportunities. For this reason, it is important to develop an educational program that includes not only recreational activities such as dance, sports, or art, but also vocational courses that help the older ones enter the workforce.

Supporting the many local organizations working on migration issues to network and strengthen themselves through new skills, activities, and increased funding is essential to make them more autonomous and improve the quality of life and assistance for the many individuals and families arriving.

Awareness-raising activities are crucial in a multicultural context marked by significant social instability. Through regular thematic meetings, the aim is to reduce the divergences that naturally arise due to ethnic, religious, historical, and migration-related reasons.
At our operational headquarters in Rome, all the activities that allow the organization to function and remain sustainable are concentrated: from fundraising to project design, from solidarity gifts to events. Together with the office staff and many volunteers, we work every day to create new projects, ensure the continuity of existing ones, and raise awareness among children and young people about cooperation issues.
SO MANY ACTIVITIES TO NEVER STOP

Communication and fundraising activities are the foundation of sustainability for every nonprofit organization. The search for and management of donors is carried out through the use of various platforms, both online and offline.

The workshops held in schools, storytelling, and theater activities are initiatives we had to suspend due to the pandemic, but now they are starting again.

The birth of a project, the search for funding, its writing, management, and reporting are daily activities within non-profit organizations.

Maintaining an organized donor database and cloud storage allows the organization to make the most of the technologies available and improve the management of projects and activities.
The selection interview is really quick!
