Scholarships

We want young people who lack the financial means to access high-level education to not give up on their dream of learning a profession and finding a dignified and meaningful job that benefits their country. 

How the project was born?

The idea of creating a fund to finance university scholarships or professional training courses came as a natural evolution of the Distance Support program, from which AGAPE was founded. Each year, more and more young people express the desire to attend university because, with the rapid economic growth in the countries where they live, their desire to improve both their own condition and that of their families grows as well. They aim to design a future with greater opportunities and possibilities.

THE CONTEXT

It is extremely difficult to enter public universities due to the limited number of available spots, and private universities are very expensive. Each student attending university incurs an annual cost of around €2,000, which covers tuition fees, study materials, transportation, and a small allowance to help them cover living expenses.

Every University Student is an Investment in AGAPE's Mission

These are not "just" scholarships…

 AGAPE’s goal is not only to provide a complete education but also to prepare students for the world of work. This objective is achieved by guiding them throughout their academic journey and helping them secure internships, both in their home countries and abroad, starting from the early years of university. This way, they can immediately transition from theory to practice.

...but also responsibility!!

 At the end of their studies, the students who have benefited from the scholarship will take care of another student and help them begin the same journey. Each scholarship recipient commits to gradually repaying half of the scholarship they received. This amount is reinvested into the Opportunities Project Fund, allowing other young people to benefit from the opportunity to study as well.
